You have officially said your first word. Momma! You started saying it this week and even repeat it back to us when we say it to you. Your expression is so cute when you say it too. It makes me smile every time.

Let the accidents begin...

This week you reached an all new high on accidents at daycare. Actually it's more like an all new high in one day! You had three accidents!! Now that you're pretty good at pulling yourself up, that's all you want to do. The problem is you're not very graceful getting yourself back down which is where the accidents come in. You lose your balance and fall to the floor, sometimes hitting your head on something on the way down or hitting your head on the floor. We try to keep an eye on you and I'm sure daycare does too but there is only so much we can do. You'll learn...your balance is already getting better!

First Haircut

Yesterday daddy and I gave you your first haircut. First we sat you on the bathroom counter facing the mirror. Then you were still wrapped in a towel from taking a bath so I held the towel tight around you while daddy trimmed your bangs and the hair around your ears. You did great, hardly moving at all!

Jenn came to visit this weekend so you and her got to spend a lot of time together. She can't believe how big you're getting. Me too! But she's moving back in a month so you'll get to see her all the time. Yay!
